Heat wave

How do you stay cool when it's a 104 degrees? Lots of baths.

Dad

I like dad the best, but don't tell anyone.

Flamenco or Beijing Opera?

Mom thinks I am practicing for the Beijing Opera, and dad thinks I want to be a flamenco dancer. Hula dancing is another possibility. What do you think?

Dapper Dan versus Esmond

As of July 13, it looks like Dapper Dan is still slightly bigger.

Am I taller than Dapper Dan?

Mom and Dad wanted a picture with Dapper Dan. Dapper Dan is always cheerful. Kind of gets on my nerves.

Booring

Hey folks, you are making my blog kind of lame. Don't you know how to add comments?

Dad's creations

Dad made me a Michigan hat to get me ready for football season. Grandma is holding me for the photo op.

If you look closely, you can also see the whale in the background that he made in middle school.

Getting used to the new house

I got to admit - when they first showed me the crib I was a bit overwhelmed. Who puts two mobiles on one crib? I like the room's sports theme though.

I'm embarrassed to say I've been spending a heck of a lot of time on this changing table.

Here's some photos mom and dad took while I was sleeping. I fit quite nicely in the bean bag chair.

Sleeping is fun

Here's my favorite pose while sleeping. It's my cool 'I can put my arms wherever I want to' look.

Raise your hand if you are having fun

The Next Houdini

Mom and Dad seem to like to pin my arms down, but I always find a way to escape. They are going to have to try harder than this. General approach is kick, kick, twist, twist, or sometimes kick, twist, kick, twist.

Sometimes I randomly cry and get the "Maybe we wrapped him up too tight" response. That cracks me up.

24-hour mini mart replaced by this bleak crib

Well, I was getting to eat pretty much anytime I wanted, and now I am stuck in this uncomfortable bed. I knew it was a mistake to come out, but when they went in after me, what am I supposed to do?

And what's the deal with pinning my arms back? Do they think I am going to drive away with the family Jetta? Sheesh.

Mom seems to like medication

Mom was having a tough labor until they gave her the epidural. Then she was all smiles. She kept notes throughout the whole pregnancy and is currently tracking my poops.
