Birthday series - 3rd birthday celebration at Holbrook Palmer's Park, 10:00 am-1:00 pm, 20Jun09

Mommy and Dad decided to throw me a birthday party before sister Coral comes along. This is my first birthday party so mommy spent a lot of time planning. Although mom keeps on telling me that there will be a lot of guests at the party, but still, I was suprised to see all these people suddenly crowded the little playgroup at the Park (17 families with 29 adults and 28 kids; Adam and Ethan, John John, Eyal and Ori, Samuel, and Emma and James from my neighborhood crowd; April, Rajiv, Adam, Isabella and Sophia from my mom's side; Ela and three girls (Bob and Heather's kids) from my dad's side; plus Logan, Natalie, Lauren, Shea, Jack, and Luke from my little bunnies' class). They were all there to celebrate my birthday. It was awesome!

I heard mom had a "conflict" in the morning with another women who took all the picnic tables. She threatened my mom on the phone "she is going to call policy if you (my mom) don't get out of my area", but you know my mom, she is not threatened at all. She goes:"This is a public park and I have the same right to use the park as you do." Later on, her husband came over to apologize and said "his wife felt horrible after she hang up the phone" and they even brought two picnic tables into the playground area for us. It all worked out at the end...The woman claimed there would be 80 people in her party but I saw so many empty tables, I just don't know.

The other shocking news mom learned from Logan's mom was that "I kissed Logan at her lips". When Logan's mom asked her why Esmond kissed you on your lips, her answer was that "Esmond loves me". When my mommy asked me why I kissed Logan on her lips, my answer was "I don't know why, I just kissed her at her mouth (not her lips)".

Mommy invited a Balloon artist to the party. I asked for a tiger, and she did make me a balloon tiger. She painted Adam's face as a tiger (can you see him stanidng at the back?). She is making a turtle for Rajiv now.

What a suprise that Lighning and Mater come to celebrate my 3rd Birthday! with matching cups, plates, and napkins??? Wow...

It is kind of windy in the park so mom trys to lightup the candles with Darlene's help (Samuel's mom).

"But it is the wind blew out the candles, not me!!!!", I cried.

People seem to really like the cake; I didn't get to taste it at all. When it comes to my turn, I heard somebody said "the magic show is going to start", so I have to run to take my good seat, oh, well...

Today I was watching "Finding Nemo" and I knew mom and dad were going to make me stop for breakfast.

"7 more minutes," I said.

Dad: How many is 7? Can you count to 7?
Me: 1 .... 2 .... [long pause]

Me: I want 2 more minutes.
